We stayed 4 nights with another couple in August 2023, and Honeyguide Mantobeni Camp exceeded all of our expectations. Wesley and the entire team are very welcoming. The tented suites are very well appointed and close to the main lodge; the meals were excellent, as was the wine and the singing with the staff! As for game viewing, mind-blowing. A big shout out to Jeffrey, our guide, who made the four days so brilliant. We pretty much saw the big five on our first game drive, and the hits just kept coming on each drive as Jeffry put his knowledge and skills to work. The fact that elephants roam freely throughout the camp daily is a wonderful bonus and a great way to enjoy wildlife in between drives. We've already booked a return visit in August this year and have requested Jeffrey as our guide once again. See you in a few months.

• Honeyguide Mantobeni Camp

I recently had the pleasure of taking a safari at the Honeyguide Ranger Camp in Limpopo with my girlfriend for her birthday. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and felt right at home. Our ranger, Dan, was an absolute gem. He was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the animals and the environment, and his enthusiasm was contagious. He made our early morning and evening game drives a truly unforgettable experience.

The game drives themselves were fantastic. We saw an abundance of wildlife and Dan's expert knowledge made the experience even more enriching. He was able to answer all of our questions and provided fascinating insights into the behavior and habits of the animals we saw.

I asked for some special requests for my GF as a surprise (romantic set up in the room with some champagne). Not only did the staff deliver, but they went above and beyond, surprising even me on our second night there with a delicious cake and a birthday song! All of the staff were amazing and all contributed to what ended up being an amazing weekend.

Overall, our time at Honeyguide Ranger Camp was an incredible experience that we will treasure for a long time. We would highly recommend this safari and ranger Dan to anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable wildlife experience. Thank you for the amazing weekend, Dan and team!

• Honeyguide Ranger Camp

We had the loveliest stay at this camp! The staff was super welcoming, friendly and just nice to be around. The food was delicious, with an entrée, the choice between two main courses and a dessert each time. The most special night was however when we had the barbecue around a campfire in the bush, a truly magical experience.
Furthermore, we had great game drives during which our guide Twice went above and beyond to find the animals we were hoping to see and thus had stunning sightings. One morning, we exchanged the driving safari for a walking safari with Nathan and got a whole new experience of the bush which was fascinating as well.
The rooms (tents) are beautifully furnished with everything you need (especially the heated blankets were really appreciated during the cold nights) and you can hear all kinds of animals moving and vocalising at night which, to me, is just the most beautiful thing ever. The rest of the camp is really well maintained, with a nice restaurant, pool and bar area from where we spent our free time in the afternoon watching the animals come and go. The cherry on the cake however were the elephants that came to drink at the pool on a daily basis. Of course, we had seen these pictures beforehand but we did not expect to actually see this for ourselves.. just breathtaking.
Nothing bad to say about this place at all, do not hesitate and book! You will not be disappointed. Thanks again to everyone for their work, you're doing an amazing job making this place a home for your visitors!🥰

• Honeyguide Mantobeni Camp

We just came back from a 4 day trip at Honeyguide Ranger Camp and I can honestly say it was a holiday of a lifetime. I cannot recommend this camp enough. Huge thank you to our ranger Julian who made this experience so incredible. Julian is so knowledgeable about the bush and so friendly, he went out of his way to make us feel welcome and enjoy the bush experience to it's absolute best.

The bush walk that we went on with Julian was, as expected, absolutely spectacular! We saw rhinos on foot, but not once did I feel unsafe. Julian was in complete control and knew what he was doing. The views were breathtaking as well!

The food was incredible, the staff were so friendly and the lodge and accommodations was pristine. Every morning when we came back from our gamedrive our rooms were cleaned and prepped for us and every evening after our game drive we came back to warm beds with our electric blankets being put on for us. We lived the life of luxury!

I'm sad that we had to leave, but don't worry we're already planning our next trip there in November. 15 out of 10 would recommend!!
